Nowadays word "Olkom" is known to every customer but not all are aware that this "tasty" trademark was created by Oleg Ivanovich Oleksenko, original and talented businessman. His recipe of success was mix of incredible vital energy, cheerfulness and aspiration to reach perfectness in each aspect.
He got an excellent education and dedicated 10 years of his life to the industry. In 1996 Oleg Ivanovich became in charge of Melitopol Oil Extraction Plant, almost destroyed at that time, and already in 1997 he resurrected the enterprise, so it could begin its stable work since that time and started increasing of volume of sunflower seeds processing.
In 1999 Oleg Invanovich became the President of the Supervisory Council of PJSC "Kiev Margarine Plant". Under the guidance of Oleksenko the Kiev Company was modernized, the range of products was extended as it was required by the market dynamics. Oleg Ivanovich was the one who insisted on necessity of creation of a new trademark that would be a business card of oil-and-fat products well-known in Kiev. That's why since 2000 the Factory began producing products under TM "Olkom". Result-oriented activities and authority of good administrator, as well as proactive life style guaranteed to Oleksenko success in politics, in 2002 he was elected as a member of parliament of Ukraine in electoral district 82 (Zaporozhskaya oblast, Melitopol and region of Melitopol). In spite of strong resistance to the political block "Nasha Ukraina" Oleksenko positioned himself as its representative. He was trusted, admired and loved. He would manage to do so many things...But on the 19th of July 2002 life of person who knew how to win suddenly stopped.
The creator of trademark "Olkom", thank to whom the brand has become successful, known and popular, is not with us any longer. But he left us his ideas, plans and business development strategy.
